Ecotourism
The focus of the Ecotourism Facilities on National Parks project is to deliver, in partnership with the private sector, new and innovative ecotourism experiences which will transform the way visitors interact and deliver benefits to the surrounding region.
Roger has supported QPWS for the past seven years, leading the interaction with private sector proponents. The initiative continues to deliver a broad range of ecotourism projects.
Roger has undertaken similar roles for both NSW Office of the Environment and Heritage and Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Services, and is currently working with the Department of Tourism, Innovation and Sport to develop a State-Led Tourism Project Selection Framework toolkit.
